My name is Steph and coordinator of the Dog Chaperone service for Shabang Weddings. We are a service for that peace of mind and reassurance, during your special day. We have many years of experience in the handling of dogs and provide you with our utmost confidence in care. My valued training and current role is within dog walking and offering of an over night sitting service.
The Dog Chaperone service is fully insured and has full training in canine first aid. The Dog Chaperone service for Weddings has been established for the last 8 years. Our Testament
We always knew that we wanted our dog, Stanley, at our wedding. We didn’t know how to do it and put the responsibility onto one of our guests to to look after him. We got in contact with Steph and she was amazing from our first interaction. We met a couple of times before the wedding, so she could get to know Stan. Steph then came to our house the morning of the wedding, taking him for a pre-wedding walk and then brought him to the venue. Steph was so good that our guests thought she was a friend helping out. She even didn’t mind getting in some photos !! I had so many compliments about her. Steph then took Stan home and sat with him for the evening so that he wasn’t alone. I’d like to thank you Steph for being so amazing and taking all of the stress away. Having Stanley at the wedding made our wish come true

Our Dog Chaperone Packages
The 3 Hour Package
From £275
Free meet and greet. A small walk prior to your wedding day. Getting to know your dog and collect a key if you live within a 1 hour radius. An early morning key collection can arranged prior to the wedding. Prior to departure, there will be a short walk for your pet.
Short brush of dogs coat, clean up and any bow ties,vales and accessories applied upon arrival.
Your dog will be safely transported to the Wedding ceremony.
Prompt arrival at the ceremony. In time for photographs after the service and assist the photographer with capturing an image with your dog.
We will ensure that your dog is comfortable through out the day with refreshments provided and toilet breaks given.
The Dog Chaperone service will then drive your pet home or to your chosen location. Finally a short walk and any needs catered for before departure by carer.
The 4 hour package
From £300
Free meet and greet. A small walk prior to your wedding day. Getting to know your dog and collect a key if you live within a 1 hour radius. An early morning key collection can arranged prior to the wedding. Prior to departure, there will be a short walk for your pet.
We will give your pet a short walk to ensure they are comfortable prior to departure.
Short brush of dogs coat, clean up and any bow ties, vales and accessories applied upon arrival.
We will ensure the safe transport of your pet.
Arrive at ceremony 30 minute prior to start time.
Allow dog to meet and greet your guests prior to the arrival of the bridal party.
Option of your dog walking down the isle to give you your rings. Either handled by carer or one of your guests or maybe your dog might do this, no assistance!!
Prompt arrival at the ceremony in time for photos after the service. Assistance to the photographer to capture an image of your dog with guests.
We will ensure that your dog is comfortable through out the day with refreshments provided and toilet breaks given.

The 6 Hour package
From £375
Free meet and greet. A small walk prior to your wedding day. Getting to know your dog and collect a key if you live within a 1 hour radius. An early morning key collection can arranged prior to the wedding.
We will give your pet a short walk to ensure they are comfortable prior to departure.
Short brush of dogs coat, clean up and any bow ties,vales and accessories applied upon arrival.
We will ensure the safe transport of your pet.

The 6 Hour Day Plus Over Night Stay Package.

We will give your pet a short walk to ensure they are comfortable prior to departure.
Short brush of dogs coat, clean up and any bow ties,vales and accessories applied upon arrival.
We will ensure the safe transport of your pet.
Arrive at ceremony 30 minute prior to start time.

We will involve your pet for a further photo shoot in the package. During the start of breakfast, your pet will be driven home.

The Dog Chaperone service will then drive your pet home or to your chosen location. Finally a short walk and any needs catered for before departure of carer.
The next morning your dog will receive a short walk and breakfast. Any other requirements will be promptly addressed.
Alternatively your carer can offer an overnight stay prior to the wedding day. The option of an overnight stay before and after the wedding is available at an additional cost.
